30 tickets for a festive production of the Stara Zagora State Opera on the occasion of Children's Day were donated by the "Hristofor Bunardzhiev" foundation to children of Ukranian refugees and those in disadvantaged situations.
The performance "Sleeping Beauty" in a unique version made for children took place on June 1 on the stage of the Summer Theater in Ayazmoto Park. The talented young graduates of the Children's and Youth Studio for Opera and Ballet at the State Opera - Stara Zagora took part. The performance introduced the children to the famous work of P. I. Tchaikovsky in an exciting way, and the delight in their eyes was a sign that they enjoyed every minute of the beautiful dances, music and songs on stage.
One of the main causes of the "Hristofor Bunardzhiev" Foundation is to provide children and young people in disadvantaged situations access to different cultural events that will broaden their worldview and bring some positive emotions into their otherwise difficult everyday life.
