The Hristofor Bunardzhiev Foundation was established at the end of 2012. In the short time since its establishment, the foundation has managed to direct efforts towards some extremely important projects and public causes for the region, to help people with health and social problems, to municipal enterprises and others.
In 2016, the Hristofor Bunardzhiev Foundation made a donation to individuals in the amount of BGN 1,768. The community centers in the villages of Yazdach, Yavorovo and Zafirovo were donated BGN 650. The Municipality of Stara Zagora for another year was supported with BGN 1,000 for the organization of the annual Jazz Forum Festus. The same amount was donated to the State Opera - Stara Zagora for the purchase of tickets for the socially disadvantaged. The university hospital for active treatment "Prof. Dr. Stoyan Kirkovich" and the auxiliary school "Lyuben Karavelov" in the city also received donations in 2016, in the amount of BGN 2130.
A donation in the amount of BGN 2,200 was received by the "Public Donor Fund Foundation - Stara Zagora" to support various projects for children and youth in the city.
By carrying out the above-mentioned activities, the foundation worked to achieve the goals set in its statute, namely: to support specific activities and programs of educational institutions, to support the creation, construction and modernization of educational institutions, to cooperate with state and municipal institutions, local and foreign organizations with a view to implementing projects aimed at achieving its goals.
